Shereese Trumpet, B.Arch '17

Shereese Trumpet is Co-Chair of the nycobaNOMA Project Pipeline Committee and a Board Director for the Architecture Alumni Group. She has actively served the CCNY Architecture community since 2013. During her time at Spitzer, Shereese questioned why aren’t there more of me in architecture? The representation that kids see of the profession matters and as Co-Chair, Shereese hopes to expand the student programming to continue to facilitate the pipeline of BIPOC interest in the design industry. 

We asked, what would you say to people who are interested in getting involved?

Shereese: The most rewarding part of a Project Pipeline workshop is the final presentation! All the skills you’ve equipped the students with come together as they explain their designs. Don’t hesitate to email projectpipeline@nycoba.org to volunteer/collaborate!
