RISE Leadership Program
In collaboration with Primaverarch, we have launched the RISE Leadership Program on October 29, 2020.
RISE Leadership promotes leadership development for emerging womxn architecture students, through:
○ Series of workshops
○ One-on-one meetings with mentors
○ Preparation for CCNY x SSA Annual Career Fair by developing their curated Resumes, Cover Letters, and Work Samples
This will be a pilot program of 10 students who will work alongside their inspiring mentors from the community to achieve their professional development goals and larger aspirations.

RISE Leadership Event - 1/14/2020
This event is through the RISE Leadership Program, a joint initiative between the Architecture Alumni Group & Primiverarch, promoting leadership development for emerging womxn architecture students.
In this program, participants learned:
→ How To Craft The Perfect Resume & Portfolio (How to get the maximum result & what to include)
→ How to capture your unique personality and experience
→ How to grab the reviewer’s attention in 2-minutes.
→ Tips on how to prepare effective and compelling materials
→ Examples of Do’s and Don’ts & What to expect

RISE Leadership Event - 11/16/2020
The first RISE Leadership session has a Guest Mia Scharphie, in a online talk about 3 Simple Secrets to Career Growth.
In this program, participants learned:
→ The five-minute task that can ensure you’re living your Plan A career – instead of just defaulting to Plan B
→ How to design your career trajectory so it integrates all the parts of you & sets you up to do less but accomplish more
→ How to be treated like an expert - before you feel ready - and without losing your creative freedom
→ How to decode the invisible rules of advancement so you can attract the promotions & opportunities you want
→ 3 specific ways to become “the creative director” of your own career and integrate creative, fulfilling projects & initiatives into your work
